After Gainako interviewed Mr. Momodou Ngum alias
MC of Minnesota about the plight of Mr. Abdoulie Njie
currently in custody in a Texas jail, two Gambians gentlemen
residing in Raleigh, North Carolina responded by donating
the sum of eight hundred US dollars ($800.00) towards
helping Mr. Njie and his family..

Mr. Omar Jallow responded by giving out $500.00. and Mr.
Solomon Johnson responded by giving out $300.00.
The money was handed to Gainako's North Carolina bureau
chief, on March 25th, 2008.

Mr. Momodou Ngum thanked the good samaritans Mr. Jallow & Mr. Johnson for this noble gesture
and noting that it is always good to help. " I am thankful to Mr. Jallow and Mr. Johnson. Even
though they don't know Abdoulie or even live in Minnesota, and yet they have shown great
concern for the welfare of Mr. Njie and his Family. Let them know, that God will surely reward
them for such act of generosity and I will keep in touch with them."

Gainako contacted both Mr. Jallow & Mr. Johnson in their Raleigh residences. Both donors were
unwilling to have their names published, persuaded by Gainako that it is for the common good and to
help inspires others, they volunteered the following inspiring words:

" We just need to help one another whether we know the individual or not. We are all strangers
here. People should stop blaming those that got in trouble." Emphasized Mr. Johnson.

Mr. Jallow in his own part said he is glad he is a part of it and humbly said " It is fine. Trust me, let
us all help him."

Editor Demba Baldeh on behalf of Gainako thanked Momodou Ngum, for his courage in bringing the
plight abdoulie Njie to the attention of everyone. He also praised both Mr. Jallow & Mr. Johnson for
rising up to the occasion in the great tradition of the Gambian spirit of togetherness. " What goes
around comes around. Anyone can be in trouble. We all make mistakes. The contributed funds
are not only for Abdoulie's legal fees but to help his family in the Gambia." Demba Baldeh
pointed.
