Wrong Lane: Poem By Sana Baldeh

Wrong Lane

Take a good inventory of yourself, and look in the mirror

Who you see looking back at you must be a hero

A hero unit on the highway of a twisted and complex lifetime

Yet you negotiate your way to your final destiny

How many times have you asked the question….why you?

Why everything bad is coming your way without notice

It could have been anyone else but you

But little do you take time and reflect on your life choices

Look into your soul and realize that it is not just bad luck

Precise personal responsibility lies within oneself

When everything is coming your way, you must be in the wrong lane

After all, the right path does not have to be the hardest

Great poem. Just shows how much we all need to appreciate the little things in life.
