This Sheikh from Maasina Toro does not cede he sheds!
Koni Gorko Achu! Wotta Watt!....Do not stir this hot tar!
Do not!

You that walked so tall
Atlethic and proud
Patrolling the beat
To weed out the rougues
Wearing only a baton
Feared no foe
Yours was the honorable walk.

The Poem below is adopted from the Late Dr. Lenrie Peters and
teachings of Islam. In his famous poem, “We Have Come Home”, Dr.
Peters talked about death, which marks the end of a man’s struggle on
earth. It happens that Islam also talked a lot about life and death.
The poem is freely written, though it adopted partially Dr. Peters’
poetry bashing.
Ode to that iconic hero of times
Who lived to bash best poetry props
Cracking the aging baobab trees aloud
And sailing boats on Atlantic waters
By his mighty unshakeable pen of times
And down by the “Kachikally” of Bakau
Where the pool of crocodiles reigns
He saw the friendly white crocodiles.
That day must come...
The day of assembly must come
when all shall stand in rows
each holding their deeds
ready to be accounted by Allah
about the life-long journey.

The ancient combatant from Burma
Walking tall as all soldiers do
Marching briskly from Bathurst to the Kombos
On foot daily with out strain or pain
Maama tabaatee in full battle mode

Precious, O so precious
God's beautiful gift
Called children of Adam
Dating to the time of creation
Till day of returning.
